Pizza ring (Jain / No onion, No garlic)

Preparation time: 30 mins, Cooking time: 30 mins


Serves 2 People

 Dough preparation 

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups lukewarm water

Pizza sauce

  • 3 big tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp jain ketchup
  • 2 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp chilli flake


  • 1 bowl green, yellow bell paper rings
  • 1 cup tomato slices
  • 1/2 cup sweet corn kennels
  • 2 tbsp black olive rings
  • 1 tbsp jalapenos



  • In a small bowl, add dry yeast, sugar and 3 tbsp of lukewarm water and keep aside for 5 mins
  • In a large bowl add all propose flour, salt and oil and knead it
  • Now add raised yeast mixture to the flour and knead it
  • Add more water to make soft dough
  • Put this dough in oil greased bowl in a warm place for 3 hours until it is increased double in size


  • In a frying pan add chopped tomatoes, sugar, salt, oregano, chilli flakes and tomato ketchup
  • Let it be cooked for 10 mins until all tomato liquid dried and make dry sauce


  • Once dough is increased double in size, roll it and put in your oil greased baking plate and tap it to make 12 inch pizza
  • Now make cross cut in the centre of the base
  • Again make another cross (please see fig. 2)


  • On pizza base apply the pizza sauce
  • Put the tomato slices and bell papers ring on each portion of cut off base
  • Sprinkle corn kennels, black olives and jalapenos
  • Spread grated mozzarella cheese
  • Now bake it in preheated oven for 180 degrees
  • Sprinkle oregano and chilli flakes and now it is ready to serve!
