No bake, no yeast whole wheat pizza (Jain/No onion, No garlic)

Prep time 20 mins, Cook time 20 mins 

INGREDIENTS

Serves 2 People

Dough preparation:

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 glass of water

Pizza sauce:

  • 4 Chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup homemade paneer
  • 1 Sliced tomato
  • 1/2 cup corn kennels
  • 1/2 cup capsicum rings
  • 1/2 cup black olive and jalapeno rings
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese

STEPS

Dough preparation:

  1. In a mixing bowl add wheat flour and with your hands make a well in the center, add baking powder, baking soda, curd, oil and salt and mix it well. Add water and make a soft dough.
  2. Place it in oil greased bowl in a warm place for 3 hours.

Pizza sauce:

  1. In a pan add tomatoes, ketchup, salt, pepper, oregano and chilli flakes and mix it well. Allow to cook till thick.

Pizza base:

  1. Once dough has proved, knead it again and roll it out to make pizza base.
  2. Cook on both the sides using regular pizza pan but allowing it to be cooked by putting the lid of pan on top.
  3. Once it becomes light brown, remove it from heat and allow to be at room temperature.

Get pizza ready:

  1. Take one of the pizza base we made, apply sauce, toppings and cheese and again put it into pan, put the lid on it. Cook for 7-8 mins.
  2. Ready to serve!
