Delicious dates semolina bars

Very healthy and easy to make.
Preparation time: 0 mins, Cooking time: 18 mins

INGREDIENTS:

Serves 4 People

  1. 1 cup Semolina
  2. 1/2 cup seedless crushed dates
  3. 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  4. 1 cup Castor Sugar
  5. 1 1/2 cup milk
  6. 4 tbsp unsalted utterly, butterly delicious butter
  7. Few almonds to garnish

STEPS:

  1. In a pan put the butter, once melted, add semolina and cook for 3 mins until it turns light brown.
  2. Now add dates, cocoa powder, castor sugar and mix well.
  3. Now slowly half of the milk and stir continually.
  4. Now add remaining milk and stir properly to prevent lumps.
  5. Cook it for 15 mins and remove from heat.
  6. Now grease the plate with butter and place that mixture into it.
  7. Gently press it and let it cool down at room temperature.
  8. Cut into squares pieces and garnish it with almonds on top and serve it!
