Egg less Turkish Pogaca – Flower shaped bread with paneer chilli stuffing by Dhara Shah 


Very delicious and easy egg less turkish pastry!
Preparation time: 10 mins, Cooking time: 25 mins

INGREDIENTS

Serves 2 People

  1. Dough preparation:
  2. 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  3. 1/2 tsp yeast
  4. 1/2 tsp sugar
  5. 1/2 cup lukewarm water
  6. 2 tbsp melted butter
  7. Stuffing;
  8. 1/2 cup crumbled paneer
  9. 1 tsp chopped chillies
  10. 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  11. pinch of salt and pepper
  12. Other Ingredients:
  13. 2 tbsp melted butter

STEPS

Dough preparation:

  1. In a small bowl, add yeast, sugar and water and rest it for 5 mins.
  2. In another bowl, add all purpose flour, butter and yeast mixture and mix it well.
  3. Add more required water and knead it properly to make soft dough.
  4. Put the dough in warm place for 1 hour.

Stuffing:

  1. In a bowl, add paneer, green chili, salt, pepper, coriander leaves and mix it well.

Flower bread preparation:

  1. Once dough is proved, roll it out and make 2 circles.
  2. Spread butter on one of the circle, put the stuffing and cover it with another one.
  3. Now do 8 cuts from centre to edge like shown in fig 2.
  4. Twist each portion of them and put black olive ring on center!
  5. Now apply butter in top of the flower.
  6. Place it in butter greased oven plate and bake it at 200 degrees for 20 mins.
  7. Ready to serve the yummy flower bread! Enjoy eating!
